Your desktop is telling your secrets. Don't believe me? Just try projecting your desktop to a room full of educators. I promise you that they are checking out your graphic (or lack of), file names, open programs, and how cluttered it is. I do it! I'm that person. So, to kick things off, I thought I would so you something so private, so intimate - my computer's desktop.
A few notes:
1. My documents file is completely empty. I upload to Google Drive as soon as a project is in its final state.
2. I have a screen shot problem. I know. I'm not getting help for it, though.
3. And maybe I have a sticky note addiction.
4. The quote on my desktop is from a fellow writer (Kelsey Keating). We were emailing about deadlines since I am to review one of her books in September when I disclosed to her that I was writing my own book and that I feared I would not make the deadline. She emailed me back just the text of that background. I loved it so much, I made a graphic and sent it back to her. It's been my guiding light ever since.
So, what's on your desktop? OR leave comments about mine below!
